Western Wall.

The Western Wall is one of the holly Jewish places. It is also known under such names as Kotel or Wailing Wall.
Wailing Wall is one of the most significant place to every Jew. Every Jewish trip to Israel begins just from visiting of this holly place. Old City of Jerusalem is the place of its location, just near the Temple Mount from its western side. Nowadays Wailing Wall is only the part (which length is over 57 meters) of the wall which surrounded the Temple Mount thousand years ago and which was built by king Herod. Today this wall is faced to the plaza.
According to the Jewish tradition Kotel was built by King David and the wall that exists today was built much later on the foundation of the David's wall.
This site was always the place of Jewish prayer and pilgrimage during many centuries since from the 4th century.
The name “Wailing Wall” that is often used today appeared for the first time in English literature in the nineteenth century. Jewish come here to mourn and bemoan the destruction of the Temple. Jews consider this wall to be the soul remnant of the Holy Temple. Every Jew dreams to pray here because it is suggested that you pray just before the throne of glory because the gate of heaven is here and it is open to hear the prayer. According to the Jewish Law in the moment when Jew prays his Silent Prayer he should face mizrach(this is the direction of pray to the Temple Mount, to Jerusalem). Besides it's considered that the of all four walls that surrounded the Temple Mount just only the Western wall was the nearest to this Holly of Hollies. Just because of this the pray near this wall is suggested to be the most beneficial.
Also many tourists arrive every day to the Wailing Wall to pray and to leave the note with request to the God. There is a special place in the Western Wall where everyone can leave his note. Usually all notes are put into the multiple cracks in the Wall. According to tradition all these requests will come true and will bring success to these people. Although there are some people who warn against this tradition because they consider this Western Wall to be the part of the Temple Mount and therefore to be the holly.
The Temple Mount which is one the great Holly place for Jews and not only for them but for Muslims also is situated just near the Western Wall. According to the Judaism the Temple Mount contains of the Foundation Stone. It was written in Talmud that this stone was the spot from where the world was created. So this is the most Holly Place in Judaism.

Tiberias is a town on the western coast of Lake Tiberias in the Galilee which is situated in the North-West part of Israel.
Tiberias is included in four holly cities for Jewes (Jerusalem, Hebron, Tiberias and Safed). Streets and bystreets of “Ancient Town” are very narrow and curving and old houses from black basalts gives to panorama the special charm.
Every year dozens of thousands of people flow in Tiberias in order to visit national holly places. Among them are Moses ben-Maimom (called Maimonides and known as Rambam) Tomb, Rabban Yochanan ben Zakai Tomb, Rabbi Akiva ben Joseph Tomb.
Greek orthodox temple of Twelve Apostolates, ruins of synagogue (VI century) in the area of hot springs (which are also a rather famous place) and also remains of the ancient Jewish town Hamat Tiberius (I-IV centuries AD) are also very attractive for tourists.
Besides famous balneotherapeutic health resort Hamei Tiberias is situated here. It includes seveteen local hot springs with the temperature of up to +630C and the source of peloid.
But one of the most famous places of attraction is the Sea of Galilee which is known under different names such as Kinneret, Lake of Gennesaret, lake Tiberias and some others. This is the largest lake in Israel with fresh water. Sea Galilee is the lowest freshlake in the world and the second one among all lakes after the Dead Sea. It is situated at 209 meters below the sea level. Also this lake is famous for that Kinneret is located in the northern part of Israel. Nowadays Kinneret is a tourist center which is known all over the world. There are a great amount of historical and sometimes spiritual sights on the banks of this lake which are visited by millions both local and foreign tourists every year. One of the most attractive views here is the place in which lake's water flows into the Jordan River.
Moreover Tiberias lake is well-known all over the world in close connection with the name of Jesus and Christian religion. In times of Jesus many settlements and villages were building on the banks of the Sea of Galilee. Mark, Matthew and Luke described in Synoptic gospels the process of recruitment by Jesus of four apostles just from the shores of this lake. These apostles were Simon who was the fisherman, his brother Andrew and two brothers: John and James.
Except all this it is suggested that some Jesus miracles also took place on the Lake of Galilee. For example, just on the Sea of Galilee Jesus walks on the water – miracle about which even children know. Calming the storm also took place in that place. The miracle of the five loaves and two fish occurred here.
Besides Sermon on the Mopunt which is considered to be one of Jesus teaching episodes took place on a hill with overlook on the Sea of Galilee.

Eilat – the resort on the Red Sea

Eilat is the most southern point of Israel. Eilat is the large tourist center which was founded over 100 years ago.
This resort has a rather interesting geographical situation. It is surrounded with mountains and at the same time is stretched along the seaside of Red Sea. One of the advantages of this resort is the excellent weather conditions. There are practically no rains in Eilat, air is very dry. Because of this climate is rather comfortable here. There are several eilat beaches both send and shingle ones. So everyone can choose what he likes.
If course there are a lot places of interests such as Sinai mountain and the Saint Katherine prior (it is situated in Egypt but just near the Eilat), park of Timna, Solomon's Stables and many others.
Today Eilat suggests to tourists a really carefree rest. There are a great amount of different eilat attractions. Variety of cafe, bars and restaurants allows to satisfy tastes and demands of the most capricious persons from all over the world.
You can visit a lot of different excursions in Eilat. For example, the sea walks in the Eilat Bay. Besides borders of four countries hitch on together in one point. They are Israel, Jordan, Egypt and Saudi Arabia. You can see all these countries at one moment.
It's the place of rest for lovers of hot sun, diving and exoticism. All these are here.
In Eliat you can learn to dive in one of the beautiful parts of Red Sea with coral reefs. Also you can take a turn on water ski or speedy carter. There is an underwater observatory and you can enjoy all beauty of undersea world of Red Sea. Observatory is situated in the end of the Coral-Reef-Reserve. It's white tower can be seen from different points of the city.
But of course the first and most valuable Eilat attraction is Eilat Sea, mountains and sun.
One more remarkable attraction is Dolphin Reef. You have a unique chance to watch the dolphins in their natural environment. Also you can swim, play and make photos with them.
Coral Beach nature Reserve is also the wonderful place of interest. This nature reserve zone takes over 3 km of the coast in the south direction. Eilat is the northern point of the tropical coral reefs.

Israel Safed.

Safed is the town situated in the northern part of Israel. This is one of the four holy Israel cities of Jewish Israel. Three other are Jerusalem, Tiberias and Hebron.

Safed is one of the highest cities in Israel. It is located on the elevation of the 900 meters above the sea level. Because of this the view that opens from this town is wonderful and very beautiful. Tourists enjoy visiting ancient Israel city. Here you can see the lake Kinneret (which is also known as the Sea of Galilee and which is mentioned in Bible) in the South-East, Mediterranean Sea in the West and the Mount Hermon covered with snow (this is the only place in Israel where tourists and others can enjoy winter kinds of sport).

The history of Safed is rather rich in events and interesting. We can speak about it a lot and there are many different historical places here. Modern Safed has a great amount of active synagogues and yeshivas. Also this town is famous for its colony of artists, for its galleries and workshops where the works of local artists are represented. Famous in Jewish Israel ancient synagogues are located on the territory of the colony. They shows the cultural explosion of Israel over 500 years ago when Safed was one of the world centers of Cabbala and mysticism.
