The most of bible sites are located on the territory of the modern Israel. Jesus was born, lived and died here. Because of this bible sites today are the objects of many routes for tourists. There are many cities and towns in Israel which are associated with Jesus and Christianity. No doubt this is the town where Jesus born – Bethlehem. It is the holly site for Christians. The greatest attraction site of this town is the Cave of Birth where Jesus was born. Also Jerusalem can be called the Holly site for Christians – Bible Jerusalem. Jerusalem has the Old Testament history, but not only for this circumstance this city is considered to be holly for Christians. Jerusalem played a great role in the life and even death of Jesus. According to Bible many events took place just here. For example, the most important among them are crucifixion of Jesus on Golgotha (Calvary) and his Resurrection. Via Dolorosa – is one of the many Passions which include the carrying of the Cross with culmination in Jesus Christ death on the Cross. Every Good Friday the Church Service of the Way of Cross takes place on the streets of Jerusalem along the probable way of Jesus to Calvary. Also the Cenacle – the place of Jesus's Last Supper is situated here on the Zion Mount. In Christian tradition this place was not only the place of Last Supper but also the place where apostols lived in Jerusalem and also it was the first Christian Church. Besides the Church of the Holy Sepulcher is located in Jerusalem. This holly site is Christian pilgrimage for the past two thousand years. The Church of the Holy Sepulcher is situated on the place where Jesus Christ was crucified, buried and then where Jesus raised. Every year the Ceremony of Descent of the Holly Fire takes place here. The modern Church is the large architectural complex which includes the Calvary with the place of Jesus Christ death on the Cross and many other interesting and important historical places and churches. Except all these there many other sites connected with Jesus and Bible located in other towns of Israel. Among them are such Bible sites as Antipatris (known as Tel Afek), Armageddon and Megiddo, Capernaum, Tiberias, Safed, Majdal Yaba, Nazareth (according to New Testament this was the city where the childhood of Jesus occurred).
